How many continuing education (CE) hours are required in Alabama?
The Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) requires active real estate licensees to complete 15 hours of continuing education every two years. This includes 3 mandatory hours of Risk Management and 12 hours of elective coursework.
When is my Alabama real estate license renewal due?
Alabama real estate licenses must be renewed every two years by September 30 of the applicable renewal year. The renewal cycle depends on whether your license falls within an even- or odd-year schedule. Be sure to complete all 15 required CE hours before your renewal deadline.
Can I complete Alabama CE online?
